But even though Hinata still fought a great battle, she ended up loosing her match against her prestigious cousin. In fact, she gets badly hurt to the point that she ends up coughing up blood, which was the after-effect of the Gentle Fist used by Neji. She gets taken to the hospital, and after she temporarily recovered, both her and Kiba make their way towards the Stadium to watch the Semi-finals of the Chuinin Exams. I find it extremely cute how he just happened to be there to save a seat for her, going, "Hey Hinata, theres a free spot here." and her going, "Yeah." He could have came to watch the match with Shino and Kurenai as well, but he why did he only came with Hinata? XD The two of them didn't even attend to the match with the rest of Team 8 at all but each other, which is what I find really cute.
Hmm, me thinks Kiba protests too much.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, as Hinata ends up feeling unwell again half-way throughout Naruto's match against Neji. She starts coughing up blood badly again, to which Kiba notices. He starts getting extremely anxious, acting all frantic, worrying to death and trying to gently tap her back to make her feel better. It occured to him that Hinata hasn't fully recovered from her injury, and was about to call out for help when a suspecious "ANBU" person approaches him and tells him that he'll be able to heal her. The "ANBU" guy claims he's a doctor and reaches his hand out to her to try to put life back into her, and Kiba acts extremely protective and defensive going, "HEY!!"
Yeah, okay. We get it, Kiba - you really care for the girl. XD
The suspecious looking "ANBU" figure manages to put life back into Hinata, but before Kiba could speak, he was knocked out completely unconscious next to Hinata on the floor. And thats the start of it all. Thats the start of a complete utter chaos, the start of insanity and most important of all - the start of a battle that brought destruction upon the entire Leaf Village.
